Safe Sanctuaries Policy
At East Shore UMC, we hold a steadfast commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment for everyone in our congregation. To achieve this, we have implemented a robust Safe Sanctuaries policy. Safe Sanctuaries represents our unwavering dedication to ensuring that children, youth, and elders can fully embrace the enduring love of God while finding genuine fellowship within our faith community.
In line with this commitment, we have a mandatory requirement for all staff and volunteers engaged in working with our children and youth. They undergo comprehensive training in our meticulously designed Safe Sanctuary Guidelines. By adhering to these guidelines, we uphold the highest standards of care and protection, providing peace of mind to both our members and their loved ones.
