Asking for help can be very difficult. This might be because you fear being perceived in the wrong way or your afraid of being rejected or maybe you just don't know where to start or who to ask. This fear or confusion is understandable, but know that asking for help is a completely normal part of life and almost everyone of us has to do it. Food Assistance
Soup's On Community Meal
Soup's On serves meals to the community every Wednesday from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. We are located inside East Shore United Methodist Church at 23002 Lakeshore Blvd. Euclid, OH 44123. Our meals are made to go, so all you have to do is drive or walk up to our back doors (attached to the parking lot) and we will serve you the meal. Soup's On has been in operation for over 15 years and is completely run by volunteers. Soup's On is dedicated to making sure no one goes to bed hungry. Whether you are rich or poor, old or young, come as you are and expect to feel welcomed!

Greater Cleveland Food Bank - Euclid Neighborhood Pantry
The Euclid Neighborhood Pantry is a client-choice pantry located at 25897 Euclid Avenue, Unit #4. Here, experience a grocery shopping trip where you get to choose what you do and don't want.
The pantry offers a number of additional services, such as cell phone assistance through SafeLink, nutrition education, healthcare-related services, free books for children, and a community resource board. The Greater Cleveland Food Bank has many resources to help you get food access.

They can help determine if you qualify for benefits, including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and also refer you to food assistance programs in your area. East Shore UMC offers a resale shop called the Shore Shoppe. The store offers some brand name clothing, men's, women's, children, shoes, and accessories. The store is located in the basement of the church and all processes go to the operation of the church. The shop is completely volunteer-run and runs off of a freewill offering system. Most items have a recommended freewill offering of $1 or less!

Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity ReStore
The Habitat ReStore are retail stores open to the public. We accept donations of new and gently used furniture, housewares, building materials, tools, plumbing, electrical and much more. ReStores resell these items to the public 50-75% off retail prices. All net proceeds benefit Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity to build affordable, decent housing for families in need.

CHN can help with your housing and related needs. We offer affordable housing and homeownership opportunities in Cleveland and inner-ring suburbs. Federal Energy Assistance Programs - HEAP, HWAP, WCP, SCP, & PIPP
HEAP is a federally funded program designed to help meet the high cost of home heating. Open enrollment for heap starts August 1st thru May 31st.
HWAP is a federally funded, low in-come residential energy efficiency program. This program can save energy, cut your gas and electric bills, and make your home more comfortable. If you qualify for this program, you could receive the following services at no cost:
WCP is a special component of the heap emergency home energy assistance program (E-Heap) the E-Heap is administed by local agencies. This program provides assistance once per heating season to eligible households. SCP is the low-income home energy assistance program (LIHEAP) – summer crisis program. The program is designed to help qualified households pay for summer cooling. PIPP is an extended payment arrangement that requires regulated gas and electric companies to accept payments based on a percentage of the household income. Ohio HIV Drug Assistance Program (OHDAP)
The OHDAP formulary provides medications to treat HIV and HIV-related conditions. The program is one of last resort, meaning the program can help cover some of the costs associated with living with HIV not otherwise covered by insurance or other community resources. For eligible participants, medications included in the OHDAP formulary are provided free of charge. The medications are available through a mail-order pharmacy or from an OHDAP contracted retail location. An applicant must be a resident of Ohio, be HIV positive, meet financial eligibility guidelines, and re-enroll every six months.

Community Assessment & Treatment Services promotes the social justice needs of the community by providing high-quality, cost-effective, evidence-based interventions that comprehensively address the chemical dependency and behavioral health needs of a diverse clientele. Community Assessment and Treatment Services offers residential treatment for alcohol and drug addiction at their Northeast center. Their residential treatment is designed to reduce further addictive habits and help the clients develop healthier lifestyles. Their treatment is available to clients after they go through the assessment service, which diagnoses and recommends inpatient or outpatient treatment. Their inpatient treatment uses individual counselling for personalized counsel, group counselling for encouragement and support, and drug testing sessions to ensure that the client is appropriately recovering under their care.
